May 27, 2008 As we’re about to start our busy season, here are some highlights you might be interested in hearing about: This coming Tuesday night, June 3rd, Kahootz will be doing an open showcase. The band will play from 7-8pm in the lower level ballroom of the Elephant & Castle Pub in Boston’s financial district. Please join us for an hour of high-spirited music, fantastic food and drink and a great time. The address is 161 Devonshire Street. Throughout this year we’ll be performing at our regular Boston wedding, corporate and fundraising haunts. This season the band is thrilled to be back at The Boston Harbor Hotel, The Seaport Hotel, The Four Seasons and Wentworth by the Sea in Portsmouth NH. We’ll also be seen at more than a few State Room appearances, The Harvard Club, Wequassett Inn and Wychmere Harbor Club on the Cape. In Newport we’ll be performing at Ocean Cliff, Bel Mer and the Eisenhower House among many other top New England venues. Travels this summer include Bar Harbor, Vermont, Manhattan, The Berkshires and Philadelphia. This fall we have the honor of being the band for the great singer Teddy Pendergrass who has chosen Kahootz to do his own wedding. For some great music, visit his site at: www.TEDDYPENDERGRASS.com A few weeks after that, we’ve been asked if Lenny Kravitz can sit in with the band at an event he will be attending where Kahootz has been chosen to be the entertainment. (yah – like we’d say, no?!?!?) All in all it’s going to be another great, busy year for Kahootz! |
