THAT is high praise indeed! Kahootz continues to get better and better and I’m not sure how that is possible!
Truly you are all professionals and you love music. It shows in your presentation and I can’t thank you enough for always making my job easy and making me proud to have excellent music at weddings I help coordinate.

You were always kind and professional. We really enjoyed our low key meetings and felt so good that you had everything taken care of always, I never felt that I had to do anything with you guys. I just knew that you would take care of it and make it perfect and it was beyond anything I could've dreamed. Our guests couldn't wait to start dancing! The anniversaries song was a huge hit and the bouquet give away was done with such thought and finesse. Thank you for adding so many touches to our evening.
We really had a singing crowd didn't we? They were certainly game for your singing challenge. It couldn't have worked out better and it set such a fun tone to our party. Please thank Randy and our flutist for their beautiful music at our ceremony, I remember someone asking me if we were going to rehearse with music and I said, "Why? Randy will take care of me." I was right too.
I'm not articulate enough to relate all of our gratitude but I hope that you get the general idea. I hope that you will have as much fun at your wedding as we did. We really couldn't have asked for more.

I'm sorry it took me so long to e-mail you. I had to write and let you know what a wonderful job you all did for my daughter's wedding on June 30 at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Everyone at the wedding commented on how great the band was.
My husband and I were in such a daze that day that we didn't remember a lot about the wedding except that everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! We watched the video last night for the first time and since we were a little more relaxed, it was awesome to watch just how much fun everyone did have.
I think the most important part of a wedding, after the venue, is the band. They can either make or break a reception and your band was not only the best band we've ever heard, but everyone was professional and classy. Please thank everyone in the band for us for making my daughter's wedding the best we could have imagined. I am hoping that we get to see you again - I know we will recommend you to anyone we know that is getting married or is in need of a band for any other occasion.

Dear Chris and Kahootz!
We will never really be able to put into words how memorable our wedding was and what an integral part of it you were. It has been over three months, and people are still talking about the night, and "where did you get that band?"!!!
As much as everyone says "just enjoy the night, its all about you" to the bride and groom, we still felt responsible for everyone to enjoy themselves. There was never any doubt we would have a good time, and after hearing from our guests, there was never any doubt they had a great time! You were all so amazing, and both young and old loved the music. You literally put a smile on everyone's face! At one point in the video, the videographer scans the room, and there is not one person sitting in their seat!!
We looked at three other bands before we met Kahootz, but once we heard Rachel and Leon sing, we knew you were the band for us. And Rachel and the rest of the band did such a great job learning our first dance song "Just Because" even though it wasn't on the songlist.
We can not say enough good things.... not only are you a great band and source of entertainment, you are all incredibly professional and nice! We decided on you the first time we saw you, but then went on to visit/see you at three more showcases! By the end, it felt like going to visit friends.... we just enjoyed you so much, and you made us feel that good!
Please know that if we ever have a big occasion to celebrate, Kahootz will get the call!
Again, thank you SO MUCH for making our wedding one of the most memorable nights of our lives.

Gosh, it seems like ages ago, but I wanted to send you a formal message of Thanks for the fantastic performance provided by Kahootz at our recent wedding reception at Dedham Country & Polo Club on October 7th.
From the start of the reception to the chants of "One More Song!" at the end of the night, you and the rest of the band proved why your website's URL is "Boston's Best Band". The music was fantastic, classy, hip, and professionally done, and it allowed everyone to kick back and have a great time on the dance floor. Rachel and Leon have fantastic voices, and the rest of the band is just as talented.
I am still hearing from people as to how much they enjoyed the music, and I am happy to give them the Kahootz name for their mental rolodex. Even people that were not at the reception but were dining in the Club's restaurant have spoken to me as to how great the band was. I guess they got a show for free!
In any case, please pass on a heartfelt "Thank You" to the rest of Kahootz from Anne & I. Y'all definitely know how to rock! Also, please feel free to use me as a reference for anyone that is considering using Kahootz if appropriate.
Now if only there was only another local wedding that you were playing at that we could crash... ;)

Finally! Chris, I finally have found
2 minutes to sit down and thank you for
helping to make Amy and Tony’s
special day (June 18th) so memorable!
Admittedly this comes a bit late, but
our gratitude remains HUGE!
Where to begin? We always knew that the
music was probably going to be the most
important factor in this wedding given
the significance it held for the bride
and groom and the majority of our guests,
many of whom are qualified musicians
themselves…but…we were totally
unprepared for the top notch performances
we got from each and every band member
and from “Kahootz” as a whole.
“ WOW”! You managed to grab every one of
us right from the “get-go” and never let
us go! We all believe that you gave us everything you
had…we couldn’t have asked for (or expected)
better. The fact that the entire band never took a
break together still amazes me…a big ‘thank
you’ for that…because of it, we never lost
out party momentum! We continue to get phone calls
from guests from friends thanking us for the invitation
to the “concert” and for a truly memorable
evening. We’ve even heard from a couple of the
Poppanesset staff noting that the music was phenomenal…the
best ever.
A big “thank you” for that
huge leap of faith in turning over your
precious instruments to Vickie (piano),
Doug (drums), and Pete (sax). Although
we knew they would respect the tools
of your trade, you trusted big time!
One of our other guests is a professional
music mixer and although he plays bass
and any other instrument you throw at
him, when approached, he chose to “let’s
see how this all plays out.” And
it did! We loved every minute of it.
Thanks, too, for extending your performance
that extra half and hour with no notice!
No one wanted the evening to end and
Bill and I think we might have had a
riot on our hands if you had left without
that additional playing time.
So, “WOW!” We regret that
we have only one daughter and one son!
And from the comments from our guests
who included a city Mayor, Milton Bradley-VP,
a Boston TV anchor and most important,
many single guys and gals…we think
we’ll be experiencing “Kahootz” again
real soon!

Last Saturday, May 15th, 2004, my
husband and I hosted a wedding for
our daughter, Julie Siebeking and her
now husband Phil Peterson, at the Marriott
Hotel in Newton, Massachusetts.
From start to finish it was a beautiful
day. All the vendors we worked with
were extremely accommodating. The presentation
was flawless and the people walked
away saying what a beautiful wedding.
But, Kahootz, took it to the next level
and made it a FUN wedding.
When we started planning last March,
Julie’s one hope was that people would
have a great time. We knew perfect
weather, beautiful flowers and good
food would make things nice but not
necessarily memorable.
Julie and Phil had their first dance
on entering the reception and then
the band opened up the dancing. From
then on the dance floor was never empty.
Ten minutes into the reception, I looked
at Julie and told her, “You are about
to get your wish.” How right I was.
Chris had to suggest people return
to their tables to eat!!!
As Chris had suggested, Julie and Phil
chose a few songs significant to them
or their past but let the band “read” the
audience and go from there. The guests
ranged from 5 to 80. At some point
there was music for each generation
to get up and dance.
I have had quite a few phone calls
or encounters with family and friends
from both sides of the wedding party
telling me it was the most fun wedding
they had ever attended or at least
attended in a long time. A comment
was made a few months ago before the
wedding as we were making different
arrangements, that it was going to
be a “stuffy wedding.” That person
retracted his statement the next day – thanking
us for such a great time.
So much of everyone’s fun came from
a band that provided great entertainment.
Kahootz was professional, accommodating,
attentive, and respectful of Julie
and Phil’s wishes. They gave us everything
we’d hoped for and more.

Dear Chris & Kahootz, Our experienced
friends told us that food and music make
the wedding. Apparently, they were right!
Kahootz certainly did it's part in creating
an evening to remember for everyone.
You exceeded our expectations, if that's
possible.
Our guests are still raving about the
band. You appealed to everyone from the
college crowd to the grandparents, from
the fox-trotters to the swingers. We
had a large New York - New Jersey crowd
and they loved your sound. Your business
cards were in great demand that night.
We spent the whole night on the dance
floor ourselves. If you wanted to say
hello to us, you had to do it on the
dance floor!
We also want to thank Randy and Crystal
for their outstanding performances at
the ceremony. Randy's input during the
decision making process made all the
difference and Crystal was unbelievable!
People thought they were listening to
a CD when she sang "From this Moment".
The bride and groom had only one complaint
at the end of the evening - they wished
the party had lasted longer. In retrospect,
we wish that we had kept the band for
another half and hour for those still
partying which was actually just about
everyone there. Four hours went by much
too quickly!
The best compliment we received was the
news that one of our guests had already
booked you for their upcoming wedding.
We are all invited and can't wait to
see you again next year!
