5/1/2010 Four Seasons Hotel Boston Wedding

Nicole, the bride, had seen us at her friends wedding last July at the Belmont Country Club.  When she called to book us she said she wanted that exact style of party:  everyone on the dance floor – no matter what their age – at all times.  She wanted everyone out there partying and dancing their butts off. Now that’s our kind of client!!!!!  She and her now husband Jessie were a joy to work with. The ceremony was held in the Govenor’s room.  Randy, Kahootz’ keyboard player, took charge of the ceremony and we hired Brian Clague to play violin with him.  Brian is an amazing player who we’ve enlisted to help us many times for our clients who are looking for a special sound for their ceremony.  From there guests were ushered into the adjoining room for cocktails.  Randy and our bass player Kyle performed as a duo for this.  At the end of cocktails everyone was invited into the dinner/reception which was held in the Aujourd’hui Ballroom.  There was some concern because the room is smaller than an average ballroom that we would fit and how it would sound.  We have played in the Four Season’s Grand Ballroom many times but this was the first time for us in this space and it worked great.  And the room sounds AMAZING.  Having people dancing so up and close was a ton of fun for us.  We want to wish the new Mr and Mrs Jessie Hurwitz all the best.  And a special thank you for letting us be a part of their special day.
