Testimonials
“KB3 was hands down the best wedding band we have ever heard. Lucky for us they performed at our wedding! I have sent their information to a number of people in the Boston/Maine area, and so many more guests wanted to let us know that KB3 took our wedding to epic levels. They had everyone on the dance floor the entire night, from kids to grandparents. Also the song list was perfection- they can legit play anything. They learned a Zac Brown Band/country song for our father daughter dance, and then a Freddie Scott/r&b;Soul song for our first dance as husband and wife. The fact that they nailed two newly learned songs from different genres speaks for itself. Motown, pop, rock, soul-whatever you want they will provide. Super organized, on point, kind, I recommend to anyone looking for a bomb wedding. They were, in one word, perfect.” – Jenny, via Wedding Wire
“Hey Chris, Everything was absolutely perfect. KB3 went above and beyond our expectations. The whole crew was so professional and took unbelievable care of us, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. I cannot even tell you how many people came up to us asking who this band was because they were so amazing. Many thanks to the whole team and please let us know if we can write any type of review for you or anything.” – Colin 5/25/17

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it inappropriate or disrespectful to you guys if we ask that our first dance be played by CD?
A: Not at all. Often clients who have been taking dance lessons (groom’s take note: I’m NOT advocating this – ha ha ) choose to do their routine to CD because they’ve been practicing to it.
Q: We have a smaller sized wedding and our location is intimate. Will you cut the band down is size?
A: We regularly do smaller sized affairs – we even did a surprise birthday party in Vermont for 19 people once! But we don’t cut the size down. We want your event to be incredible and we need our whole team to make that happen. One thing to know is because we use a state of the art sound system with in ear monitors for the singers we take up less room than most bands our size. The real downfall of cutting the band down in size is that you also cut down on the breath of material we do.
Q: We’re hosting a 40th anniversary for our parents. We’re doing it in a tent. Do you have any special needs?
A: Tented affairs come with a unique set of issues. When done right no matter what the weather – they’re amazing. But being we’re surrounded by electricity it’s very important to get it right – for our safety as well as for your guests. Please email me so I can send you specific information about what our tent needs are.
Q: Will you learn any music for us?
A: Happy to. We’ll learn up to two songs not on the current song lists.
Q: Our Rabbi says he needs a lavalier microphone for our ceremony. Can we barrow a mic?
A: He’s asking for a very special microphone that will clip to his clothes and be inconspicuous. I’m sorry we don’t own one. Also you should know that a microphone by itself creates no sound. You’ll need a small sound system for his microphone to work through. Often we help our clients with this. We don’t ourselves own a small portable sound system but we’ll be happy to rent one along with the microphone he’s asking for. We’ll come early and set it up, we’ll tear it down when the ceremony is finished and return it to the rental company for you. Feel free to email me so I can check on the latest rates for you.
Q: Are you willing to meet with us before our wedding?
A: Yes. We do detail meetings 10 days before a client’s affair. Most clients prefer to meet in person and I make every effort to accommodate that. Sometimes due to time, distance or people being to darn busy we do it over the phone. Whatever is best for you.
Q: Can we send you a specific list of songs we want you to play?
A: Let me start by saying the more information we have the better performance we will do for you and your guests. Hopefully we’ll have time to meet before the wedding. Detail meetings happen 10 days before the affair and my preference is we do it in person. At the end of the meeting I’ll ask you to give me five songs, artists or genres that you are horrified at being a part of your celebration. After that I ask that you tell us five songs artists or genres that you’re looking forward to being a part of the evening. At that point we ask that you trust that we’ll read the crowd and create a great event
Q: How much space do you need?
A: What is ideal is a width of 22 feet with a depth of 12 feet. We rarely get ideal unless we’re at one of the hotels. We’ll do everything we can to work with the space you have.
Q. Do you carry liability Insurance? The place we’re having our wedding says all our vendors need to carry it.
A: Absolutely. Over a million dollars worth.
