Flag Hill Winery is less than an hour from Boston but seems a world away. A permanent tent looks over rolling hills and fields of grapevines. Eight years ago we did a wedding at the Cranwell Resort in Lenox MA. Gabe’s mother was a guest at that wedding and picked up a business card and held onto it for all this time. As they say – the rest is history. Needless to say we were so complimented that they remembered us and called. Laura and Gabriel Scheck’s wedding started with their ceremony in a beautiful meadow on the property. They asked me if I could recommend a violinist for their ceremony. After a short conversation I knew just the right guy. Clay Heoner played a stellar ceremony for them – his playing always slays me. Every note and phrase is more beautiful than the next. Randy and Kyle played a duo set for their cocktail hour and then the reception started with the bride and groom dancing to Marvin Gaye’s “You’re All I Need to Get By.
