K2: 8/11/12 Regatta Place Wedding Newport RI

This Saturday night we were at The Regatta Place in Newport, RI for
Ana Brattan and Adam Alpern’s wedding. What a great venue right on the harbor! The
ceremony took place in a beautiful tent on the docks, where the bride
and groom had Naomi and Jhonny play a few songs as a keyboard and
vocal duo. For the processional, they played “I Hope” by the Dixie
Chicks, and on the way out, they played a fun song called “I Do” by
Colbie Caillet. We knew they were going to be a fun couple when they
asked for that one!

We love when clients request songs we don’t know and we end up LOVING
them. That’s exactly what happened with Anna and Adam’s first dance,
“History in the Making” by Darius Rucker. Definitely a keeper

It was a hot night and we all got a little sweaty once the party got
started, but the wonderful breeze from the ocean was there to cool
everyone off. At one point the father of the bride, seemingly
surprised, said to Ryan, “You guys look like you are having SO much
fun!” We certainly had a blast; it’s easy when you’ve got a great
crowd that is ready to party! Thanks for being so much fun!!
