Dominic Volpe Davis
Finding his musical beginnings as a classical percussionist in a Boston public high school; the marimba, xylophone, vibraphone and concert snare imprinted Domenic’s footsteps into a life of music. These instruments have introduced him to many stages and many amazing musicians, The Boston Symphony Orchestra at Boston’s Symphony Hall among them. After spending some time at Berklee College of Music as a Vibraphone principal, at the age of 21 he decided to pick up the bass guitar and teach himself simply because he has always loved the bass. Shortly after, he found himself playing at the St. Paul AME Church in Cambridge MA, a place where he was (and still is) able to hone his bass skills every Sunday. Within a few years he found himself in the Boston circle of musicians regularly playing many venues around the city and sharing the stage many incredible artists and musicians. Now a fulltime musician, he spends his days practicing and nights playing all around the Boston and New England area.
